ヒルトン東京、NESPRESSO、EARTH+GALLERYの協働プロジェクトです。

2か月毎に新しい企画展を開催。

5/1より6月末までの2か月間は、土井直也個展『いれものいきもの』を開催いたします。

これまで、圧倒的な技術と独自の表現を持ち、EARTH+GALLERYのホワイトキューブ空間にて、作品を配置するだけでなく、空間までも作品としてとらえ展示構成のできるアーティストを中心に発表していきます。

海外からのお客様が多い新宿のホテルにて、日本独特の美意識『気配』をテーマに発表してまいります。

新宿にお越しの際は、ぜひヒルトン東京ギャラリースペースにお立ち寄りください。

EARTH+GALLERY is pleased to announce that
EARTH+GALLERY will be in charge of planning the annual art exhibition on the 1st floor lobby floor of Hilton Tokyo (Shinjuku) from May 1st.
This is a collaborative project between Hilton Tokyo, NESPRESSO, and EARTH+GALLERY.

A new exhibition will be held every two months.

For two months starting May 1, we will hold Naoya Doi's solo exhibition, "Packaged animals.”

We will present mainly artists who have overwhelming skills and unique expressions, and who can not only place their works in the white cube space of EARTH+GALLERY, but also consider even the space as a work of art and compose the exhibition.

The theme of the exhibition will be "presence," a uniquely Japanese aesthetic, at a hotel in Shinjuku, where most of the guests are from overseas.

Please stop by the Hilton Tokyo Gallery Space when you visit Shinjuku.
It is located in front of the elevator hall across from the front desk.

土井直也

1984年北海道生まれ。桑沢デザイン研究所卒業後、企業パタンナーを経て渡英。 「モノ」の曖昧さと信憑性につ いて研究。
帰国後は東京を中心に制作、発表を続ける。 パターンカッティングの技術を駆使し、「モノ」の展開図から新たな入れ物、
衣服の可能性を模索する。

Naoya DOI
Born in 1984 in Hokkaido. A1er gradua5ng from Kuwasawa Design School, worked as a paBern maker for a company before
moving to England. He studied the ambiguity and authen5city of "objects. A1er returning to Japan, he has con5nued to
produce and present his work mainly in Tokyo. Using paBern cuMng techniques, he explores the possibili5es of new containers
and garments based on the development of "things".
